For a self-published author, its important to build a platform in order to find a readerbase. When Samantha was ready to launch her own author platform, she needed a website to kick it all off.
The design process involved collaborating with the client on both content and vision. For a personal website, it was key to nail the personality, especially when her platform includes a writing advice YouTube channel. Ensuring a balance of credibility, professionalism, and honesty that viewers would see on screen. In addition, the website had to be forward thinking for future book releases. Sections were made for book series, individual books, and even short stories to showcase the client’s writing talent.
